Floorcloths (carpets) by artsfarm are a new twist on an old tradition. Floorcloths were widely used many years ago, long before linoleum and other "modern" floor coverings were invented. They provided a touch of color and pattern in what were often plain utilitarian interiors. artsfarm floorcloths are hand painted on artist's canvas using fine quality artist's acrylic colors which are durable and fade-resistant. They are then finished with several layers of varnish for protection and ease of cleaning. With normal use, all that is needed to maintain them is an occasional wiping with cool/warm water and mild soap. It is not recommended (or necessary) to use hot water, scrubbing or abrasives. With proper care, your floorcloth will give you years of use and pleasure.
